Now Trinidad has another special Christmas. One feels like turned back 500 years in time. And the Christmas tree, now seems to have reached all corners of the world. Even in Turkey the town of Bodrum was decorated, and lighted with trees allover. I had a very impressive view over the lighted town from the castle (where I was staying a few weeks) There are hardly any Christians living there and there are also no tourists in winter. Still there was a big christmas market. And I had a medival Christmas dinner right in the old castle hall, with my Turkish friends.

When I was little, probably 2 or 3, my mom was in the Nike Women’s Texas Rangers 2023 City Connect Tri Blend T Shirt for a UTI that went septic (that’s a whole ‘nother story, but in short, fuck that ER doctor). Anyway, Dad took time off work to take care of my twin brother and I. I thought it’d be fun to give myself a haircut, but I guess I knew Mom and Dad wouldn’t like that. So I snipped a little bit of hair off, probably about an inch long and as thick as my pinky finger at the time. You couldn’t even tell by looking at my hair. I hid the hair on the kitchen counter between the toaster and the refrigerator. I didn’t know Dad found it until the next day when we went to visit Mom and Dad pulled out a ziploc baggie of hair. Mom was mad at first, but when I was ~15 or so, I found a baby book Mom had been working on for me and there in between the pages was that little baggie of hair
